  Been to S&S in various cities and have not had too many issues. This one has consistently been bad with service and order accuracy among 3 different visits with different wait and kitchen workers. Add in another bad visit and incorrect order to make it 4 bad visits. My kids wanted this place because we liked the Jacksonville, FL and Virginia Beach, VA locations. But now I have to say this place is horrible at getting orders correct.

  The manager treated me so terribly. They gave me cold food and the service was terrible. DO NOT GO HERE. So here's what happened.... I left my friend at the table to go to my car to grab my money only to find that I could not find it.. When I went back in they were lecturing my friend and saying I am trash and I was walking out without paying. We called back up as soon as I found out I couldn't find it but the manager insisted in calling the cops anyway for no apparent reason. She made an entire seen even though there was no attempt in leaving without paying. SOO if you want to support a place where they call you trash and who would not listen to their costumer and make accusations, well this is the place for you.

  The food is always good and consistent between the different stores. And the prices are crazy low. Our only complaint about every Steak & Shake we've ever been in: they are always COLD! I've even talked to the manager in one store because we were sitting there shivering. But we go back because the food for the price is great.
